5 MW Electrolysis with Battery Storage – EPC Tendering & Award Support

schwaben regenerativ gmbh, Augsburg · Hydrogen / PtX · Ongoing – award 2026, commissioning planned 2027

schwaben regenerativ gmbh is building a green-hydrogen electrolysis plant with up to 5 MW of electrical connection capacity, complemented by a battery storage system for load optimisation – supported by the Bavarian BayFELI funding programme. REACT structures and manages the entire EPC tendering and award process: bidder process, technical bid evaluation, LCOH modelling and award recommendation, plus permitting strategy, site analysis and interface management as well as the coordination of external experts.

Outcome to date: a structured competitive bidding process with established EPC contractors and a robust award decision on schedule.

H₂ Integration of Two Electrolysers into Existing Facilities

ZSW – Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg, Ulm · Hydrogen / Engineering · Completed 2026

The ZSW integrates hydrogen-producing units at two of its sites into the central H₂ distribution network: a 500 kW electrolyser with a 90 m³ buffer tank and a 10 kW electrolyser with cylinder-bundle storage. REACT carried out the on-site assessment and produced a standards-compliant principle diagram (PFD/P&ID level) of the hydraulic integration for each site – including safety valves, pressure control and metering and control sections in line with the applicable hydrogen codes.

Outcome: a procurement-ready tender basis – the handover package was delivered on schedule within one week of the site visit.

Concept Study & Investment Case for an Energy-Efficient Production Process

CLI Technologies, Taufkirchen near Munich · Industrial decarbonisation / Business case advisory · Ongoing since 2026

CLI Technologies is developing a patented, autoclave-free process for manufacturing laminated safety glass that saves substantial energy and CO₂ compared with conventional film lamination. REACT delivered the concept study in four work packages – technology & process, scale-up & plant concept, business case, funding strategy – including a financial model with scenario and sensitivity analyses, an investor memorandum and a structured investor data room.

Outcome: an investor-ready business case with a robust financial model and a four-stage funding strategy as the basis for the financing round.
